ABOUT US

AND WHAT HAVE WE DONE?

Between them Paul and Brian have worked in some of the best advertising agencies in London.

After they had migrated South - Paul pausing to work for a couple of agencies in Manchester and therefore giving Brian a headstart - Paul began in London at DDB Needhams and Brian at GGT when it was in its heyday.

Both were lucky enough to learn under two great Creative Directors of that time; Tony Cox and Dave Trott.

Paul moved into the newly merged BMP/DDB and then on to Young and Rubicam where he was made Deputy Creative Director and met... Brian.

However, at the time they were working with different creative partners. (who bizarrely married each other subsequently but I digress.)

After leaving Y and R, Paul joined KHBB which became K. (The other three letters blew off in a high wind).

Brian hooked up with Dave Trott again at Bainsfair Sharkey Trott and then moved on to Delaney Fletcher Bozell.

Finally Paul and Brian became a team when they arrived almost simultaneously at Saatchi and Saatchi in 1997.

They flourished under the Creative Directorship of Dave Droga having entries in the D&AD Annual every year from the start of their partnership.

In 2003 Brian left Saatchi’s for Ogilvy and Mather where he was hired as Head of Art by Malcolm Poynton.

That was also his title when he returned to Saatchi’s two years later. Meanwhile, in a glorious wave of symmetry, Paul had been made Head of Copy at Charlotte Street.

They were also Creative Directors across a range of business including T-Mobile, Barclays Capital and the NSPCC as well as helping the Government with their Party Political Broadcasts.
